The other day I was mooching through the old stuff in my gallery and came across the 'Hawk and Hawk' piece I did, with Hawkgirl sitting on a tree with a rather large Hawk. I decided to have a go at drawing it again, just to see if I had improved much since then and here is the finished piece. The pose is different but the sentiment is the same.
The Scanner sort of munched a few areas and seems to have blurred some? Anyway, this one was done with a combination of markers, pencils and pens.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is quite well rendered and I see great talent in this piece. I've never worked with markers all that much myself, but you see to have a talent for them.
The only real advice I can offer is to perhaps add a little more shading to her body and hair, to add some depth and a more realistic looking quality. Also, perhaps you could have made the indication of her eye slightly larger, but only slightly, it feels like it gets a little lost when not enlarged.
Other than that your work is beautiful. Hawk girl's proportions are well done and the wings on her are fantastic. As for the hawks themselves, they are beautiful rendered and look very majestic.
I've always loved Hawkgirl, and it is nice to see someone do some fanart for her, I don't see that very often.
